Free Services for Families in Orange County

The Downtown FRC offers support, education, counseling, and community engagement programs at no cost to families with children under 18 living in Orange County. Our goal is to strengthen families and connect them with the tools they need to thrive.

Core Services

• 🧠 Individual & Family Counseling: For families receiving Family Support Services and without insurance
• 📚 Information & Referrals: Help accessing healthcare, legal aid, food, classes, tutoring, and immigration services
• 💼 Family Support Services (Case Management): Up to 3 months of assistance for families facing financial hardship, violence, or housing issues

Programs Available

• 👪 Active Parenting Classes: 6-week series focused on social support, child development, and coping skills
• 🛡️ Domestic Violence Support Group: 10-week court-approved program for survivors — now accepting new participants
• 💬 Personal Empowerment Program (PEP): Weekly workshops to build resilience and leadership
• 🧑‍🎓 Youth Advisory Council: A safe space for teens (ages 13–18) to engage in leadership, service, and community projects
• 📣 Community Engagement Advisory Committee (CEAC): Leadership and mental health training for parents and residents to advocate for healthier communities
